Three-tiered cardio portfolio to meet operators’ specific needs

Matrix Fitness has launched a three-tieredseries of cardio equipment to help facilities and studios create an offering that suits their budget, space and members.

The new cardio series is compatible with a selection of refined consoles for exciting combinations of performance, entertainment and connectivity, says Matt Pengelly, managing director or Matrix Fitness UK. “Each of the series of equipment (Performance, Endurance and Lifestyle) is designed to reflect a different user to give owners and operators the flexibility and versatility to select equipment better suited to their members demands and goals. Our clients can choose what kind of console technology they pair the equipment with, providing experiences that span from beautifully simple to digitally connected and rich with entertainment.” Designed for heavy use, the Performance Series features refined touchpoints to make exercise better and smarter for members.

Easy to service, the series is tough enough to stand up to a steady stream of exercise enthusiasts day after day for years to minimise downtime. Cardio include the Treadmill, ClimbMill, Ascent Trainer, Suspension Elliptical, Hybrid Cycle, Upright Cycle and Recumbent Cycle. The Endurance Series cardio equipment was created for heavy use and solid workouts in professional fitness facilities where space is at a premium and budgets need to stretch further. Streamlined designs simplify the exercise experience while still providing performance that can challenge cardio enthusiasts. The Endurance Series is designed and tested to stand up to tough environments and heavy use. Platforms include the Treadmill, ClimbMill, Stepper, Suspension Elliptical, Upright Cycle and Recumbent Cycle. Finally, the Lifestyle Series is ideal for light commercial use, such as small hotels, corporate wellness and municipal buildings. Simplified operation makes it easy for virtually anyone to start a workout, even users who are unfamiliar with exercise equipment. Cardio platforms include the Treadmill, ClimbMill, Suspension Elliptical, Upright Cycle and Recumbent Cycle. Matrix has also launched five new consoles ranging from basic LED designs to touchscreen interfaces that mimic popular operating systems. Compatible with the new cardio series, the consoles give users control of the data they collect, the content that keeps them engaged and the way they reach their goals.
