It challenges the heart, builds lower-body strength, and asks something different of the body than steady-state cardio alone.

Relaunched as the Active Hub at St Peter’s Leisure Centre, the space has doubled its membership, while usage by people with disabilities has increased by 300%.

Basildon Council’s Cabinet has approved the continuation of its partnership with Sport for Confidence CIC to further develop the Basildon Community Health Model.
