Southampton Solent University has reached a turning point in its construction, seeing the highest point of the structure being built and subsequently celebrated with a topping out ceremony. The new sports building is part of an ongoing £100m estates development plan, which is transforming Solent’s East Park Terrace (EPT) campus.
The new sports building will comprise two sports halls, three fitness studios, a health and wellbeing gym, a strength and conditioning gym and teaching facilities.
This project, which is being managed by Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure,
began in September 2017 and is set to complete in the summer of 2019.
