Pulse Health & Fitness Carshalton has undergone a £425,000 upgrade, which marks the 10th year of the partnership between the Pulse Group and Carshalton College.
A free weights area has been converted into an immersive indoor cycling studio with 27 Pulse Fitness bikes. The main gym has been reconfigured, with half the space dedicated to functional and freeweights training featuring dumbbells, benches, half racks, Olympic lifting racks and bumper plates to meet growing demand for the training
In addition to new flooring, interiors and changing areas, the facility features key pieces from Pulse’s strength and cardio ranges.
The site, which has 2,000 members, will also be the flagship facility for Pulse Fitness’ new app TRAKK, allowing members to track their progress, devise their own workout plans and use ready-made workout plans dependent on their fitness goals. TRAKK, allows the fitness team to set personalised goals for members and keep track of how they are performing both in and outside the gym.
The upgrades form part the Pulse Group’s 30-year partnership with Carshalton College to design, build and operate Pulse Health & Fitness Carshalton.
