CoverMe Fitness partners with LeisureJobs to streamline fitness recruitment

A new partnership between CoverMe Fitness, the on-demand fitness team management and cover solution app, and the jobs platform LeisureJobs, is set to streamline recruitment for fitness operators.

The partnership aims to make it easier for the UK’s fitness operators, including independent gyms and boutique studios, to recruit qualified professionals to run facilities effectively and maximise member engagement.

In an initial pilot programme, the two organisations are joining forces to recruit highly sought after personal trainers and group exercise instructor roles for Fitness First, one of the UK’s most recognised fitness brands.

As part of the initiative, LeisureJobs will send job advertisements to its extensive database of fitness professionals. Interested candidates will be seamlessly redirected to the CoverMe website, where they can download the app and create a professional profile in minutes to receive targeted job notifications and recruitment opportunities. The profile acts as a digital portfolio, showcasing qualifications, experience, specialties and availability - all in one place.

With more than 6,000 fitness professionals already using the app in the UK alone, CoverMe will then send targeted job notifications to personal trainers, as well as boxing, yoga, HYROX and Les Mills instructors, helping Fitness First to fill roles quickly and efficiently.

The app’s smart algorithm ensures that job notifications are only sent to relevant candidates, allowing Fitness First to connect with the right talent in just 30 seconds.

The partnership not only streamlines recruitment but also sets a new standard in compliance.

All fitness professionals applying through the CoverMe app are required to have up-to-date qualifications and insurance. This ensures that candidates attending interviews or audition days via the platform are guaranteed to comply with industry standards, giving operators peace of mind and reducing the administration burden of manual compliance checks, saving clubs 10 hours per week.

Lou Crossland, chief commercial officer, CoverMe, says: 'We are excited to be working with LeisureJobs to provide a faster, smarter way for fitness operators to build their teams, secure in the knowledge that their new recruits meet the highest standards of professionalism. This partnership provides an efficient and targeted solution for the fitness industry, one that removes the headache of recruitment while raising the bar for compliance.'
