China Fleet Country Club invests in solar PV installation

The leisure and golf resort China Fleet Country Club has installed a solar photovoltaic (PV) system to reduce its carbon footprint and generate long term cost savings.

The installation at the club on the Cornwall and Devon border is expected to achieve substantial energy savings, reducing its reliance on non-renewable resources and significantly decreasing its carbon emissions. The 400kWh solar PV system will generate a substantial portion of the club’s electricity needs, powering various facilities including the health club, food and beverage areas, hotel and golf club.

China Fleet Country Club worked with ZLC Energy to design and install the solar PV system, which uses the latest solar technology to maximise energy production and minimise environmental impact.

“This project is a testament to our ongoing commitment to sustainability and our desire to lead the way in environmental stewardship. By harnessing the power of the sun, we are reducing our carbon footprint and making a positive impact on the planet,” says managing director, Dean Bennett.
