Bolton Arena partners with Age UK Bolton

As part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, Bolton Arena has entered into a strategic partnership with Age UK Bolton to develop new initiatives to help tackle health inequalities. 

More than 1.2 million visitors use the sporting, events and entertainment venue each year. Bolton Arena will work with Age UK Bolton to deepen its community impact and provide greater access to sport and both physical and mental wellbeing support.

“If we have learnt anything from the last couple of years during the pandemic it’s that collaboration and partnerships is how towns and communities are going to thrive and support those most in need,” said the venue’s new managing director, Neil Hutchinson.

Both organisations will invest time in bring their workforce together to work on projects together to include Walking Football, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Weight loss programmes.
