Personalised workout experience for the gym floor

THE new Open Mode for EGYM’s Smart Strength equipment unlocks all the popular benefits of EGYM’s Smart Strength series, ‘opening access’ beyond a dedicated digital area in the gym to the entire fitness floor.

Members of all experience levels can now benefit from smart features, including automatic settings, various training methods, smart weight profiles for more effective workouts than with traditional weights, and intelligent training programmes, integrating EGYM Smart Strength equipment into their regular gym floor programme. In Open Mode, members can now also workout on EGYM Smart Strength equipment as a guest, improving access by removing the need to set up an account.

Advanced users can enjoy a completely new workout experience tailored to their needs. Exercisers select the equipment and simply adjust repetitions, weights or training methods. Workout routines, such as pyramid training or drop sets, are automatically saved and preset. A newly designed expert live feedback feature - the EGYM Bar, motivates advanced users during each workout for continuous progression. As a result, body and workout analytics via the EGYM Fitness Hub, Trainer App, or Branded Member App are also now available to a wider audience for the first time.

Beginners can continue to work out with the established guidance of the EGYM Curve and intelligent training programmes.

“Our new operating mode “Open” unlocks a unique workout experience for experts and marks the beginning of a new era of workouts with EGYM,” said EGYM CEO, Philipp Roesch-Schlanderer.
